Born on June 26, 1993, Ariana Grande began her career at 15 in the 2008 Broadway musical 13. In 2010 she gained popularity for playing Cat Valentine in the Nickelodeon HIT TV show Victorious and its spin-off Sam & Cat. It was followed by My Everything (2014), which features Grande's first global hits; the sultry Dangerous Woman (2016); the Grammy-winning Sweetener (2018); and the critically acclaimed album Thank U, Next (2019), which features Grande's most successful chart-topper singles to date: "Thank U, Next" and "7 Rings". Ariana then released her sixth studio album, Positions, in 2020 before going on hiatus from music to star in Wicked as Glinda Upland and returning with her latest album Eternal Sunshine in 2024. She has also contributed to the soundtracks for Charlie's Angels and Wicked.
