About Brand New Animal
Brand New Animal (ビー・エヌ・エー) is a one-season anime series by Studio Trigger.
It follows the story of Michiru Kagemori, a girl who was once human and had suddenly been turned into a tanuki beastman. She flees to Anima City, an isolated city created exclusively for Beastmen so that they could live without human discrimination and danger. Here, Michiru meets a wolf beastman named Shirou Ogami who has a hatred for humans and devotes his life to protecting the safety of Beastmen and Anima-City. As Michiru learns the radical ups-and-downs of the Beastman life and desperately searches for the answer on why she randomly became a Beastman, troubles arise with old friends and important figures.
