Welcome to Dorkly Wiki!
Introduction
Dorkly is an animation channel that creates "Dorkly Originals" that are funny shorts of parodies of video games and movies. Realism is usually used in their animation parodies. Video games and movie crossovers are also quite common, for example, Power Up Mix Up and Smash Bros. Street Fighter Crossover. There are also other contents that they make like ranked compilations (Top 5s, Top 10s), Nerd History (Today, This Week), Let's Play and etc.
Dorkly has made a lot of webseries; some are popular, for example, Pokemon Rusty, Peach's Revenge, If Pokedex Entries Were Literal, If Every Villain Had An Assistant, etc.
Dorkly's former parent company, CollegeHumor (renamed Drop-Out) went bankrupt on January 8, 2020 (they're still making videos on their YouTube channel) and its longtime partner, Lowbrow Studios (they also make videos on YouTube) is Dorkly's current parent company.
Lowbrow Studios has officially acquired Dorkly on May 18, 2023, and started to post weekly videos on YouTube again and became independent from CollegeHumor.
Editing and Description
Write a description about your topic. Let your readers know what your topic is about and add some general information about it. Try not to add too many placeholders and leave too many pages left undone or barely written.
Also, characters have to be directly in a video, even ones that are heard off-screen (examples: narrators; talking on phones; etc.) or cameos in the background (examples: photos; on TV; no dialogue; etc.). No characters being only mentioned in videos. There's too many of them to list, and trying to research on whoever it is would be exhausting for a lot of people (believe me; it worn me out just looking them up on the internet by myself).
Acceptable Content
They have to be from either Dorkly, Dropout (formerly CollegeHumor), or Lowbrow Studios. Anything that isn't made or have any connection to these companies can't be here (videos; characters; etc.).
Unacceptable Content
This is a {{warning}} and I'm serious here. Please no false or made-up information without proof from any of the companies (be honest). This includes possible future series, seasons, episodes, characters, etc.
If it's done too many times, I will not only remove them, you will also be blocked (I'm sorry, but I'm tired of it).
- Also, no vandalism, harassment or any kind of negative conflict going on here (I'm a nice person, but I have no tolerance for it if the issue(s) goes on for too long).
- Especially sock puppetry and ban evasion (I've been dealing with it the worst for the past few years, and at least one or two people kept making new accounts--using similar usernames--after been blocked previously).
