About Earl Sweatshirt
|
Earl Sweatshirt was born Thebe Neruda Kgositsile on February 24, 1994, in Chicago, Illinois. He was originally known under the stage name Sly Tendencies when he began rapping in 2008, but rebranded once joining the alternative hip hop collective Odd Future in late 2009. He released his debut studio album, Doris, in 2013, which peaked at number five on the US Billboard 200. |
