Finding Nemo is a CGI animated film series and Disney media franchise that began with the 2003 film of the same name, produced by Pixar and released by Walt Disney Pictures. The original film was followed by a standalone sequel, Finding Dory, released in 2016. Both films were directed by Andrew Stanton. The film series received widespread critical acclaim from critics and audiences with two films released to-date, the series has grossed $1.9 billion worldwide.

Nemo is one of the main characters of Finding Nemo and Finding Dory. He is the son of Marlin and Coral. Like his father, mother and unborn children, he is a young clownfish. He is one of Mr. Ray's students.
Born with one small gimpy fin, Nemo is always eager to show his dad he can do anything other fish can do. One of his main tasks in life is to convince Marlin to lighten up and learn to trust others.
Unlike his uptight dad, Nemo makes friends easily. His trusting, innocent nature seems to bring out the best in others, while his wide-eyed enjoyment of the sea around him has a contagious effect on those he meets.
