About
Given (ギヴン, Givun?), stylized in lowercase, is a Japanese manga series by Natsuki Kizu that began serialization in Chéri+ magazine in April 2013 and concluded in March 2023. It was first adapted into an audio drama (drama CD) in February 2016, included with a magazine issue and later released by Crown Works. The manga was adapted into an 11-episode anime television series by Lerche, which aired from July to September 2019 on Fuji TV's Noitamina block. A follow-up anime film, Given the Movie, premiered in August 2020, followed by two sequel films, Hiiragi Mix (January 2024) and To the Sea (September 2024). A manga sequel, Given: 10th Mix, set ten years later, was serialized from January 2024 to March 2025, providing a canon continuation of the story.
Synopsis
- It's stuck deep inside me and I can't get it out of my head. Mafuyu's voice is an insane and dangerous weapon.
- That day, Ritsuka Uenoyama started to feel that playing the guitar and playing basketball, both of which he liked very much, were becoming boring. He then encounters Mafuyu Sato, who's holding onto a broken guitar, and decides to fix it. The moment Uenoyama finishes fixing the guitar, Mafuyu becomes completely attached to him. However, after hearing Mafuyu sing it leaves a deep impression on him.
