 The latest entry in the Half-Life series, Half-Life: Alyx is a virtual reality video game developed by Valve. It was announced on November 18th, 2019, and released on March 23rd, 2020 for Microsoft Windows and May 15th, 2020 for Linux. Set five years before the events of Half-Life 2, the game follows a 19-year-old Alyx Vance as she journeys through the Quarantine Zone to uncover the secret of a Combine superweapon called The Vault. Running on the Source 2 engine, it was the first official Half-Life game since Half-Life 2: Episode Two, which was released 12 years prior.
