𝄢 About Sound! Euphonium
- Sound! Euphonium or Hibike! Euphonium is a Japanese media franchise. The story focuses on the path of the high school student Kumiko Oumae, who plays the euphonium within the Kitauji High School Concert Band, and the band's road to improvement throughout her 3 years in high school. First a novel from 2013 written by Ayano Takeda, it then became a series of novels. An anime adaptation, produced by Kyoto Animation and directed by Tatsuya Ishihara, began airing in 2015 and kept going on for 3 seasons and several movies over the next decade. Following its success a manga adaptation illustrated by Hami came out in 2015, and several other contents like audios and books were produced.
