Eureka (エウレカ, Eureka) (Greek: εύρηκα, heúrēka; Literally meaning: "I have found") is a term given to a series of supernatural items that each of these items contains explicit knowledge of the human world. These particular items are considered to be beings close to that of a sentient as they are able to choose their own users, people who is known as the Chosen One (選ばれた人間, Eraba Reta Ningen). The first Eureka that was introduced in the series is called the Newtonian Apple, which bestows its user the knowledge of Isaac Newton's Law of Universal Gravitation and gives them the power to control gravity. Again... Spoiler alert! Read at your own risk! Killed meets Rosalie in a unknown dark place, where she's watching Ragins' battle against Heidi and Alan Blackman, disappointed because Killed's puppet was destroyed. Without the creature, Ragins finally shows his Eureka: the amber stick of Thales of Miletus, that allows him to manipulate electricity. Heidi and Alan are then overpowered by his Eureka, prompting Mira, Alan's partner, to go help them, but ended up being knocked down as well. Chitose Toriiooji, however, manages to prevent Ragins from using his Eureka by throwing oil on him, giving the trio time to be healed by the Pythagorean Hammer. Heidi then saves Chitose from Ragins and gets ready to fight him for the second time. Read the full summary here. |
