The story of Hunter × Hunter focuses on a young boy named Gon Freecss, who one day discovers that the father he has always been told was dead is alive and well. He learns that his father, Ging Freecss, is a legendary Hunter. Despite the fact that his father abandoned Gon with his relatives in order to pursue his dreams, Gon becomes determined to follow his father's footsteps, pass the Hunter Exam, and eventually find his father to prove himself as a Hunter in his own right.

| The Zoldyck Family is considered to be the deadliest and most infamous group of assassins in the world. Children in the family are trained from birth in the art of assassination. Members possess a unique set of talents: resistance to almost all types of poison, the ability to tolerate high amounts of electricity and pain, and immense strength.
The family owns and lives at Kukuroo Mountain, a dormant volcano in the Dentora region of the Republic of Padokea. Only few people unrelated to the family have any idea what is within the estate. There are a lot of mysteries surrounding the Zoldyck family; a single photo of any of the members can be sold for millions. |

Borksen looks Morena in the eyes, and expressionlessly confirms that it was her final choice. Internally, Borksen shouts and tries to fight back, not wanting to confirm "Yes" as her final choice. Borksen tells herself to stop, that it wasn't true that she wants to choose the "Yes" card, but points to it and confirms that the "Yes" card is the card she chose for her final card. Morena accepts Borksen's response and tells her that she is happy that she would join them, but that she was also a little disappointed. Separately, as Benjamin makes his way to the Justice Bureau, he keeps in mind that once symptoms begin to appear, he will fall into a coma in 10 hours, and then die 2 hours after that. He estimates that he has about 9.5 more hours, and prepares to eliminate the remaining Princes before that time is up. He hopes that he can inherit the rights of succession officially, which would allow him to pass on the throne to his child even if he dies, in line with Article 1 of the State of Emergency Act: "Crisis of Preserving the Monarchy". A soldier informs the Justice Bureau that Benjamin has arrived, and they escort him in, where Mizaistom, Botobai, and Kaiser wait with their hands up to receive him... |

| Gon climbs to the top of the World Tree where Ging is expecting him, and the two finally have a heart to heart talk. In this occasion, Ging reveals his intentions to explore the world beyond the current boundaries known to mankind and Gon tells him of all his adventures, while his friends keep following their separate ways, each one of them with their own dreams and goals to pursue. During their talk, Gon remembers to give the double star hunter license Kite gave him back to Ging. The last episode, Episode 148, is up. |

Minor spoilers I guess, but Chapter 408 completely changes the timeline. As per Morena's words, she was born in 1998, and the current year is 2021. We could perhaps assume that Kakin uses a different calendar, but this is... a problem (I mean, Nobunaga is obviously not 50 years old).
