Below is a list of guidelines that will help you figure out what is and isn't allowed on THIS WIKI. have to highlight it because many wikis differ with rules.. 😭
Just Rules
- Please do not make any joke pages. They can have a bit of humor, but it'd be cool if you actually put effort into your pages.
- Do not clutter, which is defined as unfinished pages or joke pages.
- If you have an unfinished page, it is required for it to have a finished infobox and 2 lines in the page before the end of the month.
- God, be original. Don't copy directly from the canon.
- Don't copy directly from the fanon, either!
- Don't add any touchy topics without a warning first, and any offensive content in pages [sexism, ableism, racism, you get it] will have the page deleted and its owner blocked for a set amount of time.
- Slimepups are ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.. but go ahead, I guess.
NPCS
Npcs are Non player characters, they are usually there to aid the player or entertain the player, which gives players options on what their NPC is.
A quest giving NPC
These NPC's are quite straightforward, they give players quests that usually are " kill gootraxian/human [number] amount of times " or " find this for me " . All MUST give some kind of reward, which can be currency, a bat, a badge, or something completely different, as long as it makes the quest worth it.
When making a quest giving NPC, you must plan for them to have more than 3 quests if they are ONLY a quest giving NPC. 2 quests if it is another type of npc and a quest giving one.
Ps, make sure to differ from the quest giver already in the game!
Please refrain from making tedious or annoying quests, or extremely hard ones. It gives people aneurysms.
A shopkeeper NPC
These NPC's sell goods that will benefit the player.
Please. Make the items benefit the player, either with a transfur, some kind of use in combat or healing like a medkit or a weapon, and PLEASE DON'T SELL OP ITEMS.....
Shopkeeper NPC's, if they are a slimepup, must differ from abble in some way. We know who you are. this goes for slimehounds and slimedragons aswell!! abble is going to be a slimehound in TFE!!
Other NPC types
I forgor. Bother me on my message wall [here] if you have any more, cause I forgot most of them.
Other rules for NPCS
PLEASE MAKE THEM INTERESTING-
Stop traumatizing NPCS or giving excess lore if you don't have a shitting clue what you're doing.
Thats basically it for specifically NPCS.
Gootraxians
Oh yea, don't know what this is. At all. No. What is this?
Gootraxians are the infectious team, tasked with turning the humans into FURRIES!! and winning over the facility. They're less common in this wiki, and we NEED THEM. PLEASE. PLEAASE!!!
Rules For Gootraxians
- Please refrain from making them extremely tedious to get.
- Try to keep the passive effects/attacks in the 2-3 range.
- Gootraxians can be obtained by stepping or touching something, or interacting with something [transforming items]. Stick by this, it's pretty easy to still be creative by this rule.
- Please make them interesting.
- Variants [which can be determined by " if i just swapped the colors around on this canon gootraxian then would i get a very similar look to this fanon gootraxian? " ] are.. not supported? You can make them, just please make them actually differ in terms of passives and attacks.
Kind of it for these!
Events
Events are instances that usually happen every hour or two in game. Blackout and Power Outage are the current CANON ones.
Rules For Events
- Its in your best interest to NOT make it similar to any of the canon events, a lot of the events struggle with being a blackout or power outage copy. cough, cough, cough
- Events centered around one thing WILL fail. [grapos rage ha ha]
- You are required to add some kind of text that plays before the event starts, but text while the event is going or ending is NOT required, but it'd be cool if you did do it!
- NPCs can change their spots or act differently based on the event, but its totally up to the creators.
Groups
Groups are bands of gootraxians or humans that are usually set on doing something. Or they're just the chaotic types, vandalizing and causing havoc in the laboratory.
Rules for Groups
- Please make them differ from a certain group that strives to kill the laboratory. PLEASE.
- 3 members is the MINIMUM amount of people or gootraxians you may have.
- All groups have a base, it can be an existing area [cafeteria or support caves] or a new area [SPECIFIC DOOR IN THE KAIJU CAVES.......]
- Please do not put humans and gootraxians in the same group unless there are specific circumstances that allow them to not fight eachother. Unless you want to have them fight eachother to the death, lmao.
