Years later, Yūichirō is training to join the Japanese Imperial Demon Army, willing to embrace Cursed Gear to enact vengeance upon the vampires for what they put them through. Though vampires, demons and the Seraph of the End are not the only hardships that lie ahead.

Lest Karr along with Urd and Saito gather they are under attack. Yu and Mika are carrying out research in the area. Lest Karr heads with an entourage of vampire nobles to an underground shrine where Ferid is located.

Long ago there was a paradise situated on the Sun. Within a memory of it, Mika assumes the past Mikaela form to engage with the environment more. Interacting with a spell, Mika tells Yu the First's spell involves him being sacrificed. When Yu provides more calories, Mika can perceive more in the memory and makes out a fortification in the sky. There, Sika Madu was flanked by cloaked human-appearing angels and before a fiery manifestation.

Presently, Saito regards the three spells along with a sinful key. For whether he could read the First's spells, Saito tells Urd it is one to save them. While Urd thinks the First made it for himself, Saito decides then to make it his job to complete the spell. They hear Yu nearby say that Mika needs way more energy. Urd says he will go eliminate the humans and acquire the sinful keys, yet without warning moves to attack Yu. Intercepting him, Saito repels Urd but he has acquired the sinful key.

Urd activates the sinful key and Yu is seemingly killed. From what Saito says, Urd gathers this was an illusion, yet is still able to fend off Saito's chain attack. It is recalled in a prison for slaves how Saito and Urd first met as human children. Presently, Saito tells Urd he thought they were friends, yet Urd smiles that their journey has gone on for too long.

Suddenly, both are aware they are being monitored. Shinya aims at them, with Guren beside him. Guren squad, Kureto and Mahiru are also there. Ferid is devouring Lest Karr. They are ready for their final battle.
