Roblox Headquarters

The Roblox Headquarters, also known as the Roblox HQ or simply the HQ, are a group of buildings currently located in the Bay Meadows neighborhood of San Mateo that houses most Roblox employees and Roblox Corporation operations. Its current address is 2850 S Delaware St, San Mateo, CA 94403.^[1] The headquarters are split between 3 buildings, specifically Stations 1, 2, and 5, and total an area of around 600,000 rentable square feet.

History

The exact address of Roblox's old headquarters was 970 Park Pl, San Mateo, CA 94403. Roblox moved into this office from an unknown previous office sometime in 2018.^[2] 60-minute tours of this HQ used to be hosted every couple of months with signups at https://behindtheblox.splashthat.com/.

In early 2022, Roblox signed new leases to acquire Stations 1 and 5 of Bay Meadows.^[3] This acquisition later included Station 2 and the move was finished by 2024. The former occupant of Station 2, Guidewire Software, executed a sublease agreement to exchange headquarters with Roblox’s former headquarters at 970 Park Place.^[4]

A place based on the Roblox headquarters by builderman builderman is a notable creator or influencer verified by Roblox Corporation. Learn more. named Roblox World Headquarters was created in 2006. He also created an updated version, named Roblox HQ 2.0, in 2008.
A game was created in June 2014 called ROBLOX HQ (Headquarters) by Keyrut, which accurately portrayed the old HQ at that time.
