Calling all API/Roblox development readers and editors,
We have added an RSS feed of Roblox engine changelogs to the Roblox News page! This new section, located at the bottom of the page, is powered by the Roblox API Reference (maintained by Anaminus).
For those who are unfamiliar, Roblox has weekly engine releases (with the exception of holiday weeks in December). These weekly engine releases contain changes to API used by experience programmers. A lot of programmers follow these changes to be aware of potentially impacting, and the possibility of seeing upcoming Roblox features teased in the engine API. Adding this feed allows programmers to access change logs powered by the Roblox API reference directly from the Roblox Wiki!
The Roblox API Reference is a reputable, verifiable source of information that has been used within the wiki's various API pages and projects for over a decade. Its usage extends back to November of 2011, long before my involvement with the Roblox Wiki. Despite its usage, not very many people in our community are even aware of its existence and value. Hopefully this small but impactful change proves beneficial to the programmers in our community, and serves as an educational tool to readers and aspiring programmers alike!
