Overview
Temple Run is an endless running game developed and published by Imangi Studios. First released in 2011 for iOS and later for Android, the game quickly became a mobile gaming phenomenon, praised for its fast-paced gameplay and intuitive swipe controls.
Gameplay
In Temple Run, players control an explorer who has stolen a cursed idol from a mysterious temple. The goal is to run as far as possible while avoiding obstacles, jumping over gaps, sliding under fire traps, and turning corners. Players must also collect coins and power-ups along the way to boost their score and abilities.
Controls
The game uses simple swipe and tilt controls:
- Swipe up to jump
- Swipe down to slide
- Swipe left/right to turn
- Tilt the device to move side-to-side and collect coins
Characters
Players can unlock and play as different characters, each with unique appearances. While the original character is Guy Dangerous, other playable characters include Scarlett Fox, Barry Bones, Karma Lee, and more.
Power-Ups
