Canimals

Canimals (2011) is a series created by Calvin Kim by Voozclub Co., Ltd. In 2011, a first season was released. In 2015, a second season was released. There are two seasons and 109 Episodes in total. (On Amazon Prime Video) It was first concepted in around 2006. There is also an prototype series from 2008 (and it also having other stuff in 2006-2007) titled Curious Canimals: What Is It?. An Untitled Canimals Spinoff/Sequel is coming soon. They are currently in discussion with major broadcasters and agents around the world for the sequel/spin-off.^[1]^[2]

Canimals Plot

Canimals are always around us but no one has ever seen them yet. Have you ever found a disc you bought long ago in the dryer? Or have opened up box and only favorites are gone? If these things happened, it means that Canimals are close by! When Canimals are around, same boring things become new and exciting! They will turn up in your desk drawer, between books, and whenever we are not watching!

Main Characters

Ato - A Beagle in a green can. He puts up the Canimals logo in the episode title cards.

Oz - A Turkish Angora in a red can. She often gets herself into more trouble than she can handle, but she's smart and can easily get away with anything.

Uly - A hungry Pug in an orange can. He happily eats anything in sight without thinking.

Mimi - A bossy poodle in a pink can. She sometimes attacks the others with her ears. She is a little mean to the other Canimals.

Pow - A clever Great Owl in a beige/tan can. He can shoot laser waves via his eyes to debilitate the other Canimals.

Fizzy - An extremely skilled Siamese cat in a blue can. He aspires to have a ninja lifestyle.

Toki - A hyperactive Rabbit in a dark blue can. He just can't seem to stay firmly on the ground. He loves to dance.

Nia - A timid, gentle, adorable, and a little Turkish Van in a bright yellow can. She sometimes lets off a sonic scream when frightened or angry.

Leon - An odd Chameleon in a striped green can. He can make himself invisible at will and move around with his tongue.
