The Pitt is a medical drama series that premiered on Max on January 9, 2025. Created by R. Scott Gemmill, the show presents a real-time depiction of a single 15-hour shift at the fictional Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center, known as "The Pitt." Each of the 15 episodes covers one hour of the shift, immersing viewers in the nonstop pressures of emergency medicine.

The story follows Dr. Michael "Robby" Robinavitch (Noah Wyle), an attending physician dealing with the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Set entirely within the hospital, the series focuses on the medical team's professional struggles, ethical conflicts, and constant decision-making under pressure.

The ensemble includes Dr. Heather Collins (Tracy Ifeachor), a senior resident often at odds with Robby; Dr. Frank Langdon (Patrick Ball), a senior resident with a more easygoing approach; and Dana Evans (Katherine LaNasa), the charge nurse keeping operations steady.
