ABOUT TYLER, THE CREATOR | |
“I’m an optimistic guy. I’m one of those big dreamers. I’m one of those kids with that annoying imagination.” Tyler, the Creator was born Tyler Gregory Okonma on March 6, 1991. He first received major recognition in the hip-hop community in the early 2010s as a founding member of the now-dissolved rap collective, Odd Future. He received mainstream exposure with his debut studio album, Goblin (2011). Aside from music, he has ventured into fashion, with his labels Golf Wang and Le Fleur. He also founded the music festival Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival in 2012. |
