- Mid April 2025 Updates!
Good evening, Wiki Editors and Readers! Here's a couple updates from the past month. Recently, we've made adjustments to the Dark Mode of the wiki, switching out the Greenish Black and Green Link texts for a Black and Orange inspired look instead. We're still looking for feedback on any suggestions for the Dark Mode so please message me if you have any ideas or concerns. Secondly, we've recently merged the TV Universe game pages into the main TV Universe pages and updated Webisodes characters tags that belonged to multiple Webisodes or shows as well. Last, recently the titles of the Dead City: Season 2's episodes where revealed! Check them out if you haven't!

Happy New Years TWD Fandom! Like I said in our previous message, thanks for a wonderful 2024! Here's to a wonderful 2025! Before I go, I wanna take a moment to remember all those we've lost throughout 2024. In May we lost Linda Gehringer who portrayed Christine, in June we lost Seven who portrayed good boy Dog, and in November we lost Paul Teal and Frank Hildebrand, who portrayed Walter and Hildy respectively. Our thoughts our with their families, the TWD Fandom will always remember you.

- Remembering Paul Teal
Paul Teal, who portrayed Walter in AMC's The Walking Dead: World Beyond, sadly passed away at the age of 35 on November 15th, 2024 following a battle with cancer. Our thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family. May he rest in peace.

- Introducing Staff Colors!
Hello everybody! Time for a late August update! Over the past week, I've been working with our staff members and administrators to not only introduce new personal templates to the staff and admin pages but to introduce Staff Colors! Similar to how me and the other administrators have our own personalized color, all staff positions now have their own color, which is styled per position, rather than per person. This should make finding a staff member much easier whenever needed. Visit the new Staff Colors section on the staff page for a more in-depth breakdown of the current colors!
- Late June/Early July Update!
Hello everybody! Been a minute since our last update and I want to share some of the recent changes! Firstly, congrats to Wwefan and Ccccclyde for their promotions to Admin and Content Mod respectively! I myself am currently running for the second Bureaucrat position (Admin only vote)! Over the past few weeks we've added a two new sections to the character infobox - Eye Color and Episode Counts (Chapter and Issue too)! Thank you to all whose been helping us roll these out across the wiki! The Comic Universe mergers are still in effect, so please come help if you can! Otherwise, that's it for this update! Cheers!

- Open Administrator Position!
Ashton Rhee has stepped down as an Administrator for the Wiki, however he's staying on the moderation team as a Content Moderator. This means we know have an open position for a new Administrator! Anyone with more than 2000 edits and has been in the Wiki for more than seven months is welcome to apply!
- Comic Universe Mergers!
Comic Universe page mergers are on their way! We're currently testing stuff out on Shawn Greene's page. We plan on merging any characters who appeared in the main TWD Comics, Novels, and the Telltale Series! "Clementine" pages will not be merged at the moment. Please await for full approval before merging any Comic Universe pages!
- New Discord Mods/Admins!
Users Geo1234 and NMcBugg59 have joined the Discord Moderation Team as Discord Moderators! Congratulations to the both of them! Additionally, Ratthew Holt has been promoted to a Discord Administrator! Congrats to her as well! Finally, Fredrick Denning will be stepping down from all of his staff roles within the coming weeks, hence the recent promotions. We thank him for his service to the Walking Dead Wiki!
- Open Discord Mod Position!
CallMeJes has stepped down from his position as a Discord Moderator. We all thank him for his service to the Discord. With his departure, we now have an open spot in the position. If anyone is interested in the position and has been in the server for at least three months, please message me on Discord.
- Deletion Policy Updates!
The Deletion Policy has been recently updated! When marking a page for deletion, please DO NOT wipe the page, just add the template and leave everything else as is! Please place the template on the top of the page!
- New Noticeboard!
We have a community noticeboard now! It will be replacing the Featured Articles template! Updates about the wiki can be shared though here for everyone to see!
