ABOUT AITCHISON

Charli XCX

Charlotte Aitchison (born 2 August 1992) is an English singer-songwriter. In early 2008, Aitchison began posting songs on her official MySpace page, consequently catching the attention of a promoter who ran numerous illegal warehouse raves and parties in East London, and later invited her to perform at them.

After releasing her debut studio album 14, debut single "!Franchesckaar!", and the double single "Emelline" / "Art Bitch" with Orgy Music, she signed with Asylum Records, a subdivision of Atlantic Records, in 2010. Her work began taking shape after her third studio album, Sucker, which has a more commercial sound. In 2016 Vroom Vroom, an extended play primarily produced by DJ and producer Sophie, was officially released, with its experimental pop sound dividing both critics and fans.
