About
Shards are a form of currency in Fishing Simulator. With Shards players can purchase unique and exclusive items from the Wandering Merchant at Port Jackson and Smuggler's Bay. Notable examples include the Sunburst spear and Heart of the Forest fishing rod. Purchasing shards with Robux can create a somewhat large gap when compared to players who do not purchase them, as the player may be able to buy items that would normally take months of grinding, like the Cephalo-Rod, which makes grinding the game much easier. Keep in mind that when shards are purchased, the player can still only purchase items currently in rotation.
Usage of Shards
- Shards can be spent at the Wandering Merchant for exclusive items such as:
- Upgrading The Vault for extra storage space
- Using the Forge located at Nidhogg's Reach to forge a specific rod skin with a specific rod stat
Obtaining Shards
Shards are a much rarer currency than others available in Fishing Simulator. Shards can currently only be obtained from the following sources:
- Quests from Raygan's
- Quests from Mary's
- Codes
- Completing the 'An Apothecary's Tale' Quest (Non-repeatable)
- Completing the 'Lost In Time' Quest, if the Toxic Steampunk Rod has already been unlocked (Non-repeatable and Limited Time)
- Daily Log In rewards (only during Fall Event 2023)
- Achievements
- Robux
- Christmas Advent Calender (2022/2023/2024)
